I was VERY excited for this game to come out, however after the debacle of Cyberpunk 2077 (different developer, I know) I waited until release. Then purchased it online from Epic Games. The trailer and in game videos are absolutely fantastic. The actual gameplay mechanics aren't bad, but the video's are laughably bad, barely an improvement from the 90's version. There isn't anything in the way of roleplaying or immersion. BUT it is fun to go full Crinos and smash everything in sight.
That said, a little than halfway through I encountered a game breaking bug where I was locked out of the area I needed to be, in order to complete the mission. Restarting the last checkpoint (no manual saves), put me right back where I was. Epic games referred me to the developer (Cyanide), which informed me there is NO direct support for their product. I had about 6 hours of play into this game, and Epic's return policy does not allow a refund.
Unless you're a diehard fan of this genre, I'd avoid this product.
