As a Hispanic women, I am DISGUSTED by this series. This portrays Selena as a white washed girl. I felt no connection to the girl playing Selena. The casting was horrible even down to Abraham who is not portrayed as the strong family man he was. I now have to go watch the original movie to make myself feel better.
