This movie is a horror classic in every sense, it scared the Heck out of me, and left me shocked and terrified (as a a classic horror should). Also I learned later on that it is based in a real story. Acting is top, casting is perfect. A must see! 🎭👌

I've had my battles with other fans of the series who do not appreciate what I think is a very intelligent and interesting story. I above all would love the line by the end of the movie (no spoilers) where one of the characters states (back home I always felt like a freak, but here I feel home!! 😮

Actually for an avid thriller movie watcher , this movie kept me hooked , obviously Ben Affleck is great , Charlize Theron is great as well , and "monster" is great as well . I think that the bad critics was due mainly to a slow , sluggish start of the movie (first 10 minutes). Also I have just watched 2020, so maybe with time has gotten better (like a good wine )
