[SPOILER ALERT]
The MCU Spider-Man is the worst iteration of the character, and heres why
1) Spider-Man is independent, he doesnt need help from other heroes, he is not a sidekick.
2) He is Spider-Man not Iron Man.The entire movie feels like a tribute to Stark rather than a Spider-Man movie. It is a rom com, Spider-Man quips, makes jokes, but doesnt mean you turn his entire arc into a laughing stock
3) Uncle Ben, yes i understand you didnt want to show the origin again, but what is wrong with you guys? Straight up replaced him with Stark.
4) Aunt May is a wise influential mother figure rather than that one hot lady next door.
5) Spider-Man's life isnt perfect, no he doesnt get Starks help. In homecoming too he missed a full decathlon, if it was about Spidey, it woulda affected him negatively, his peers would have been angry. No, that wasnt the case. Here too, if he was Spidey, when stuck in Netherland he would not have been able to call someone for such easy assistance. His life sucks, he would have found his own way, mixed in with the people got on trains without tickets stuff.
He finds his own way, no one needs to guide him except his uncle and aunt.
6) His villains arent his, they are angry at Stark.... Like what in hell...
7) Again why did he need Happy to get the people outta there on the bridge? If the civillians were trapped there and Spidey alone had to save him, it woulda made sense. He does not need anyone. He is the one who helps, he doesnt get the help.
8) Flash isn't a social media addict jock,no, he is a bully, a quarterback, with a soft side, not some side jerk.
9) His friends are so one dimensional, like take a lesson from Webbs and Raimis versions, give them a life, some depth. They turned it all into a joke.
10) Shield interferes with him, yes, we have seen that in the Ultimate comics storyline, but, Spider-Man was never scared to question them, and never needed them to guide him so fully.
The only good part, are the villains. Their acting is 5/5. Just the Stark part of the villains sucks.
