BARBARA MANDRELL & the MANDRELL SISTERS was one of the greatest Variety shows from 1980-1982. It showcased all 3 Mandrell sisters talents. With both Barbara and Louise playing a total of 7 different instruments and Irlene playing the drum. The show also had many guest stars in Country Music and film and television. At the end of each show, Barbara, Louise, Irlene and their guest for that week's episode would sing a gospel number and then the show would close usually with Louise and Irlene playing some prank on Barbara. Barbara had to quit the show after 2 seasons because of health issues.
