The newer episodes aren't good. The story line seems forced and feels like parts of the scenes are missing. Ella, CJ and Malik appears to be the only fulltime cast members all the others pop in and out. Calvin portrayed angry the whole time then last few episodes he is nice to Miranda.... weird. Just seems like TP is focused on making his other shows like Sistas and The Oval soap operas that he forgot to focus on House of Payne and to kill Janine off instead of writing her off tastefully seems a little petty!!
