Amazing cast and great acting. I especially enjoyed that the casting with the Native American tribe. It wasn't a racist depiction like the original was. Although, that is all they understood back then. They weren't the best educated around that time period. Many racists aren't. But I really enjoyed the fact that she actually used a Native American language. It was perfect. The movie went more in depth on Peter Pan's life and feelings and how he and captain Hook became enemies and how they knew each other. I love that the live actions tend to have more of a back story for the characters instead of basic characters without much to them.

Great movie. It was an amazing take on our world. I'm glad they made this movie. It was a lot of fun. There was comedy and emotion all in one. There was delicate balance between lightheartedness and moments of genuine emotional depth, ensuring that the movie appeals to a wide audience. I loved the powerful message of empowerment and self-discovery. Beautifully done. There was one cuss word but it was beeped out. Once, they referred to the names of genitals but kids have those and should know the correct terms for them so I don't see a problem with it. There was some "drinking" but it wasn't obvious. Most jokes would go over a child's head so it's just a fun movie for everyone to watch. I want to add my favorite quote from the movie. It is long but it's a fact of womenhood. "It’s literally impossible to be a woman. You are so beautiful, and so smart, and it kills me that you don’t think you’re good enough. Like, we have to always be extraordinary, but somehow we’re always doing it wrong. You have to be skinny, but not too skinny. And you can never say you want to be skinny. You have to say you want to be healthy, but you also have to be skinny. You have to have money, but you cant ask for money because that’s rude. You have to be a boss, but you can't be tough. You have to lead, but you can’t squash other people’s ideas. You’re supposed to love being a mother, but don’t talk about your kids all the damn time. You have to be a career woman, but always take care of everyone else. You have to answer for men’s bad behavior which is insane, but if you point that out, you’re accused of complaining. You’re supposed to stay pretty for men, but not so pretty that you tempt them too much or that you threaten other women because you’re supposed to be a part of the sisterhood. But always stand out and always be grateful. But never forget that the system is rigged. So find a way to acknowledge that but also always be grateful. You have to never get old, never be rude, never show off, never be selfish, never fall down, never fail, never show fear, never get out of line. It’s too hard! It’s too contradictory and nobody gives you a medal or says thank you! And it turns out in fact that not only are you doing everything wrong, but also everything is your fault. I’m just so tired of watching myself and every single other woman tie herself into knots so that people will like us. Absolutely amazing. My daughter and I went to see it with a couple of friends. We sang along with the songs and loved the comedy that was added. It almost sold out. They added some new songs and the actors were amazing. This was a diverse and stunning movie. Well done. Everyone worked well together and it turned out great. This is a beautiful movie about growing up, letting go, the search for yourself and making life decisions. The visuals were beautiful and you can feel the emotion. Absolutely enchanting. I'm sure the bad reviews are from people who haven't seen it and are just being immature. The saying, "You cannot judge a book by its cover" comes to mind. This not only means books but also people and movies. It is completely immature to be upset that something isn't to your liking and that other people like it. You have to watch it to justify an opinion. Plus I don't know what's worse; the fact that people are complaining about a mythical creature or the fact that they use the term woke incorrectly and think, "ya that makes sense". So these comments are from people who are immature and uneducated. 👌 👏

Love love love love this movie!!! The kids and I watch it together.
