*spoilers* At it's heart it's first season is a great, gritty -but never excessively graphic- crime drama about a team of detectives following a serial killer of criminals. However on it's exterior huge swaths of it's plot are cut out with a B story-line (fighting like heck to prove it's dominance) about a government conspiracy to recreate and use (abuse really) the DNA of the gods; which unfortunately -despite some pretty BA fight scenes- never has enough time to be fully fleshed out, and probably should of been left to have been explored -with only some foreshadowing before- the second season.
In conclusion I don't plan on getting rid of Netflix anytime soon so I will be keeping an eye out for the second season in the hopes they keep the plot more focused, or possibly add-- like 10 more episodes.
