It's a story that's been told a thousand times. While I did enjoy most of the movie, some parts were just so cliche. Some scenes just seemed forced, like the dancing in the nearby town, and her accent came and went throughout the movie. I love the actors, they all had shining moments in this piece, but it just didn't seem like the parts were perfect for these actors. Replace them with unknown names and it probably would have been just as good.
Also, how can she walk out of the castle into a nearby town area, cross some tracks and be in a less wealthy area in one scene, but when they're delivering furniture and toys, they're shown driving for miles?
Too much was poorly planned and executed. Still liked it, but not worth a 2nd watch. I hope my children like it.
