[LITTLE SPOILERS] As someone who decided to just play the second game (since I watched many people do a gameplay of the first on youtube) this game was quite disappointing. Combat- With mediocre combat with both infected, WLFs and SCARS theres not much action. You can almost get away with sneak take downs throughout the entire game, and even taking down enemies with about 3 shots. Let's also not forget that the game makes you kill animals and have the main character have no empathy when doing so. Storyline- I think almost everyone who played the first game or even enjoyed the original story line will hate how this whole game is played through to the end. Killing off main characters with 2 second deaths and not giving the player time to morn is just cruel. The whole mission for revenge is played for both Ellie and Abby, leaving the player to sympathize with both of them, when in truth you don't have to second guess your loyalty to Ellie. Making you play as Abby is even worse. Graphics- the graphics of the game weren't to bad (which is the reason I wont give the game a straight 1 star) The views are nice and the designs of the city are cool to look at. Final thought- The game, at the end of the day, is just a game. Nothing is real, but as a gamer your experience in games can actually greatly affect you. I can honestly say I didn't feel good playing this game. Seeing all my favorite characters die at the hands of Abby and then be forced to play her for a straight 11 hours was not fun, pretty boring actually. No matter how cool the city was to run through, I wont forgive them for making me kill a bunch of dogs. (yes that is my final thought to my final thought).
