It's a good movie but not great ! I felt like watching 83 world cup highlights. Every actor did a tremendous job in becoming a perfect copy cat. Hats off to all the actors. Bowling action, talking style..everything was very well done. I am a frantic cricket fan so I could relate very well. But by interval you have had so much of cricket scenes that you are asking what's next? Lack of character building-Half of the people around me dont know the cricketers of that era by name except the big names like Kapil dev and Gavaskar. So it was very important to build the characters. To understand where they are coming from how they got on the team flight etc. Ranvir aka Kapil Dev needs more dialogs. Ranvir Singh is a tremendous actor and he did 100% justice to his character. But we need more Kapil dev the captain moments. Inspirational speech or some executive decision or something where he is not just running to bowl. Overall, they had Ranvir Singh the actor and a great topic to make a first time film. They could have done a lot better in storytelling.
