I'm hoping you read the Google description of this movie or saw the movie itself but if you didn't here's the basic run down. There's a young woman who lives in a place called Columbus with her mom who has had some substance abuse issues in the bad and bad relationships. Cassie ( the girl ) takes care of her mother, more or less, and doesn't want to leave her mother in Columbus to go study elsewhere. Then there is a man who came here from Korea because his father got sick. so the woman and the man meet each other and hit it off. review !!! I would not recommend this to anyone. I found this on a website's Best Indie Movie list. this is just not a good film. the plot is subpar to bland. Cast are talented but are not good in this film. They have zero chemistry and no balance. the girl kind of just forces her company on the man. i Like Haley Lu Richardson but she was not the right choice for this role.

I give this 2.5 stars. This movie is the mid of movies. You know those movies you've watched that you can't badmouth or praise about? This is that kind of a movie. It's not very entertaining, it's just a little entertaining. The mystery isn't a great mystery, it's an okay one. One complaint I will make is that the killer's connection wasn't clear. I liked Saoirse Ronan but Sam Rockwell was mid. If you liked Knives Out and that genre of whodunit, you might like this. I didn't like Knives Out very much so this makes sense. Also, the cinematography looked a bit inspired, reminded me of The Grand Budapest Hotel a bit, maybe it's because Ronan's in them both.
