I enjoyed this series. It wasn’t quite what I expected and took liberties from other shows in the genre but I liked it nonetheless. My 3 low points is undeniably the robotic dogs. For an advanced alien species you have mechanical versions of mans best friend as your attack force. Trash idea. Secondly was the 1 solo humanoid alien spotted. This is supposed to be war of the worlds. 1 advanced alien species and it’s dogbots wage war against earth is so not another world attacking earth. My last gripe is the weird connection established between the blind girl, the alien and the taboo kid. The blind girl alone actually makes more sense for the show. Adding the other kid only makes sense if he was blind too. I hope if there’s a season 2 I’d like to see how things turn out.
