I loved the first Wonder Woman, except the unnecessary love story which undermined the strong female lead, so I was of course excited to see the sequel. However, this movie was, at best, mildly entertaining. The plot was unimaginative and incoherent. A great female villain was poorly utilized. The "main" villain's drive was one dimensional and boring. Another love story was shoehorned in via "magic" making Diana even less appealing and weak. I had hoped her character would have moved on from being defined by the love of one man but it was used yet again in this movie. There's a number of parts that are intended to be earnest but instead are boring and corny. I'm not sure if Snyder had a hand in this movie's creative direction but, if so, we need him to stop getting involved in DC movies.
