For anyone that has no knowledge of science this would be a dull adventure at best. For those who have a IQ higher than their shoe size this is just annoying. Why did everyone evacuate from the safe place into the danger area? Why leave the terminal cancer patient on his own to warn humanity’s last hope of deadly danger? Why did the spaceship go off course in interplanetary space? Why did the crew not establish the ship’s position using astronavigation like navigators have done for the last 500 years? And how the hell did humanity miss a moon of Jupiter for the best part of a millennium? That’s like tripping over a table you only just noticed in your home of the past 20 years. The writer seems to have had some soundbite scenes in his head but no real idea on how or if they went together. Lazy and boring.
