When asked with the question about what my favorite movie is, I respond the Lord of the Rings. I don't know why, but I have connected with these movies more then I have with any movie from Disney, Dreamworks, and many other studios. These movies have you invested in this world, invested in these characters before the end of the first movie. And all of this comes to an epic ending with the return of the King. I love this movie, from it's epic battles, from the rallying cry of the Rohan, the struggle of each and every person in this movie, and the battle for the fate of Middle Earth being held in balance between light and darkness. Nothing can compare to this movie, and I don't think I will ever see a movie that does capture my attention like this one. For Tolkien everyone.

I have been asked what my favorite movie is, and I can only say The Lord of the Rings. There is nothing to describe this movie that sings in the songs of elvish. There is nothing to tell about the tale of the Battle of Helms deep that that has not been said. But I can tell you this, while I have never read the books, and as a result my favorite fantasy books are from authors such as J.K. Rolling and Brandon Sanderson, none of the movies that are made from harry potter or Star wars can hold a candle to this movie. You can feel the despair of men holding Helms Deep, you can feel the despair of the Elves, and you can feel the despair of the two Hobbits, who would likely go to their death to save the world. Everything in this movie outstands any other movie. Instead of having a full orchestra, we have a choir singing songs of elf music. The language is in here as much as spanish would be in a mexican movie. It feels alive and nothing can hold a candle to this movie, and every one of the series. I wish to someday read the Lord of the Rings books, and on that day I will reunite with the characters I have grown to love in these movies.
