The visual effects were good but not enough to distract you from the absurdity of the script or the poor character development. The plot was as silly as that of a children's movie and except for the robot, birdman and the scientist, nobody contributed anything to the storyline. Amy Jackson playing a domestic robot(which is kind of sexist) does pretty much nothing throughout the movie. It is a cheesy pseudo-science fiction spectacle with nothing new to offer other than some shoddy CGI and cheap thrills.
