I haven’t read the book and won’t. I supported Peg Streep’s Facebook page until she came after me in the style of mean mother. I have screenshots of this unpleasant conversation if you need proof. When angry, she gets rude and snarky and reminds me of wolves in sheep’s clothing.

Just watched S4, Ep 54, Danny Sits on His Fanny. Difficult to watch the mother-son duo and their public displays of affection. Hard to believe this issue wasn't addressed. ick

I really like Tusk. (spoiler alert)
Wallace foregoes much of his own emotional-psychological humanity, then finds those changes mirrored in the physical alterations forced upon him. His arrogance blinds him to the dangers of his host, who delights in gradually stripping him of what little humanity he has left. Johnny Depp provides the comic relief, but the 2 main characters ultimately get what they believe they deserve, and that is more interesting than "saving" either.
