Screw the random babies that write 5 star reviews on this show. They obviously don't know what on earth they're talking about. This insult of a documentary sears my eyes in pretty much every episode shown. First off, the narrator and designers straight up lie to us just to make the dinosaurs look scarier or to increase tension during the admittedly fun fight scenes, but with good rewards come at a very costly price. The scientific experts that are introduced in certain episodes tell us facts that are just straight up thrown out the window when creating the models. Take the Majungasaurus (which was pronounced Majungatholus which is also blatantly wrong). The science expert says that Majungasaurus' arms were pretty much vestigial and would've served zero function of any sort, it didn't even have an upper arm bone. But, we're treated to this tyrannosaurid/carcharadontasaurid like arm with very clear signs of very well developed arm bones and muscles. NOT WHAT MAJUNGASAURUS HAD! It also doesn't help that every. Single. Dinosaur has their arms facing inwards instead of sideways, this literally wouldn't have been possible without the dinosaurs twisting and mutilating their wrists. The behaviour too, is something that falls apart even in modern-day animal standpoints. In Bloodiest Battle, the Allosauruses score 3 huge meals that would last them all weeks. They managed to kill a ceratosaurus (may I point out that it is not done justice in any way since it's only existence is to be the Allosaurus' personal ragdoll, disgraceful) and have two Stegosaurus sitting in a trapped position with no way of fighting back. But INSTEAD, they go for the Camarasaurus which are just walking around doing their own business. WHY?! In ANY sort of modern day behaviour, predatory animals will always take the easiest kill that they can find. It's true of birds, it's true of reptiles, it's true of mammals, it's true for insects, why not dinosaurs? It makes completely logical sense that the dinosaurs would've also went for the easiest kills, and heck, the kills are even fresh, not rotten (which wouldn't have stopped the allos from having a feast). There are many, MANY more inacurracies in this so-called "documentary" series that would take too long for me to write, and for you to read. So please, just take this advice from someone who knows dinosaurs and do yourself a favor to not watch this series. Unless you want to see dinosaurs fight to the death and don't want to learn things, which is totally fine, don't get me wrong. However, JFC is a complete waste of a dino doc and brings disgrace to the other, better documentaries out there.
