Never before have I found a television show adaptation of a book series to be more impressive and compelling than the original. Mads Mikkelsen is the perfect Hannibal Lector. Hugh Dancy is the perfect Will Graham...with a dash of Clarice Starling...and still a better version all around.
It made me re-read the books, re-watch the movies, and STILL, I think the television show has more the spirit of what Thomas Harris intended with his visionary characters.
