I've played this game since it's launch, and I can honestly say it's an amazing Monster Hunter title. There's plenty to do, so much awesome armor to unlock.
The monster selection is awesome, Gameplay is... okay. The game runs okay, but it's really slow and sluggish on older 3DS models. I have noticed this game does not like hacks, because it crashes all the time. lol
