I'm not a huge fan of the cinematic universe DC has created, I feel that many of the heroes if grown to know and love have been done a disservice from many of these movies. I was critical walking into shazam, but aside from some minor rushed story elements that felts slightly blunt, I unreservedly enjoyed myself. Its not the greatest movie by far but I will push anyone and everyone I know to go see shazam, because I want to award DC for what works in Hope's they will take this direction, and refine it to get to the heights I know DC is capable of reaching.
