# Zindagi ki Mehek, # Khurana An Apology to A Young Lady in a Yellow Salwar Khameez! Date: Friday, 19th January 2018 Place: JNU/Vasant Vihar Traffic Light I play the character of the lawyer, Khurana in this show. I was sitting in the front passenger seat of my car and we had stopped at the JNU/Vasant Vihar road signal. I noticed a young lady in a yellow salwar-khameez on the right of the car and looking in. She was smiling pleasantly, which brought a brief smile to my face. I looked down at my phone to make a call. A few seconds later, I heard a loud knocking at my window. Without looking up, I very rudely waved whoever it was away. My son, who was driving, told me that he had watched the young lady hurry excitedly across the front of the car, round to my window and knock to draw my attention. My son realised that she had probably recognised me as the lawyer 'Khurana' from the Mehek serial and had simply wanted to say hello. I am feeling very bad that my brushing her away must have hurt her feelings considerably, as she would not realize that I had not watched her after the initial eye contact, so was not prepared for her coming and knocking on my window. This has been bothering me since the incident. This post is an attempt to get my apology across to this lady. In case she has mentioned this incident to anyone who might see this post, please let her know that I did not mean to be rude at all. I am sorry that my gesture would have hurt her feelings.
