On the 2 hour episode “I am Vanessa” that first aired March 3, 2021, early in the first part of the show Martha Raddatz - ABC News Chief Global Affairs Correspondent comments Ft. Hood is in the middle of nowhere and there are tumbleweeds rolling. Apparently she never visited Ft. Hood. It is not in the middle of nowhere. There are several towns and cities close to the base. Plus, there are no tumbleweeds in that part of Texas. That area is farm and ranch country.
