Parody of the epic Ramayana
The movie Adipurush, a parody of the epic Ramayana, attempts to incorporate its own imaginative elements inspired by Hollywood movies. However, this attempt has backfired, resulting in a disastrous outcome. The Ramayana is not merely a story from Hindu mythology, but a guide for individuals on how to live a good and respectful life. These teachings have been passed down through generations by our parents and grandparents.
The epic emphasizes the importance of responsibilities, with the husband being the head of the household and the wife managing the home. It also emphasizes the significance of young people following and respecting their elders. On the other side of the story, Ravana, the king of Lanka, is portrayed as a character who is not a demon but rather overconfident and possesses excessive self-respect. This overconfidence stems from his victories and his devotion to the gods. However, it leads him to become excessively greedy, believing he can do whatever he desires, including capturing and imprisoning women.
Ravana's character teaches us the dangers of becoming overconfident in our own success, as it can ultimately lead to a downfall from a high position to a low one. The movie also introduces creative elements such as Ravana forcefully stealing the sky chariot, Pushpaka Viman, from Kubera, which transforms into a demonic bat. However, these additions seem to be attempts to inject Hollywood-inspired imagination into the minds of the audience, but they are received poorly and result in a disaster.
I strongly object to this narrative of the great epic Ramayana being turned into a parody. The movie Adipurush fails to capture the essence of the original story and instead presents a distorted version that deviates from the valuable lessons and teachings it imparts
Bollywood became adda of Copy cats many scenes and visual in this adipursh reminds you many hollywood scenes 😁
