After watching you take a step back and ask yourself, “what was this movie about?” And at first you’ll say it’s clearly about Ethiopian-Jewish refugees, but then you realize this movie didn’t really tell their story. Then you think this movie was about a rag tag group of mossad operatives, but then you realize you haven’t learned a thing about them. Bottomline, it’s poor story telling! Not to mention, there were no actual Ethiopians in the movie, I REPEAT, A MOVIE ABOUT THOUSANDS OF ETHIOPIAN REFUGEES HAD NOT ONE ETHIOPIAN IN IT. I'm tired of seeing stories about Ethiopia without its people being featured and its dialect being watered down to some vague African accent Hollywood came up with for an entire continent.
