BOO! The scariest parts were in the trailers, and they were the only ones. Like, the gasping creature behind the little girl who says, "Shh!" never comes back. That's the only scene of it being creepy. The series makes being a ghost seem like torture where you repeat your saddest memories over and over and over.... and over and over... until both you and the screen ghost are both insane.
