I liked it and am ready for #2. Is it award worthy? Probably not. But I liked the story, the action scenes, the characters. The world building was awesome. I don’t know anything about Zac Snyder, so I didn’t go into it with any of that knowledge. But I enjoyed the movie a lot and will be watching the next one. Will probably watch this one a couple more times just because it’s a fun watch.

I liked it! Not as many jump scares as the other movies, but definitely still some in it. More of the family story and what they’ve gone/are going through. Patrick Wilson did good on the direction, kept the creepy feeling…the mri scene got me. Overall I love that this gives a conclusion for the family story.

I really like it. Charlize does an excellent job. Action and more. I’m probably one of the few that wished this storyline was continued, as I wasn’t a fan of the next movie. (Except for Charlize, always.)

This was a good action, sci-fi, disaster movie. Some of the special affects were amazing, I thought the story was a good one. Some of the CGI/green screen stuff was bad. Will it win an Oscar, no, but definitely an entertaining 2 hours.

I'm apparently one of the few fans of the 1984 Dune, so I was skeptical. but I have to say it was awesome. Visually stunning, the music was perfect, cast did a fantastic job. I'll probably watch this one at least 30 times as well.

One of my favorite movies. I’ve watched it probably 20 times. I’m reading up on the new one (exited to see updated cgi although still not sure about some of the casting) and seeing all the negative reviews on the 1984 version. I think it was great, good casting, good story. I don’t mind all the internal talking, it just tells the story. It’s an interesting world. Love it.
