Don't go into this thinking you'll get the same feelings as when watching the animated version. The 2020 version resembles Chinese folklore story telling and really I can't fault them for that.
That being said, I did enjoy it other than I would prefer them to speak in a form of Chinese and have subtitles. Then the authenticity would've been more believable
