Compelling. A fresh take on supernatural powers with well developed characters and a rich storyline.

Luckily, I haven't read the book(s) so I've enjoyed the first season at face value. The world building is rich; the Witcher character is flat at times but maintains the heft of a central character able to both advance the plotline and keep the story interesting; the three storylines are intriguing; and I love the dashes of humor. It's a great fantasy series if you don't expect it to be something it's not.
