I'm on Chapter 4 of the book, and it's been really helpful so far. I'm new to Python, although I have experience with other languages. Due to that experience, I thought I could jump right into Python with no problem, but the syntax tripped me up almost immediately. This book has clarified everything. Plus, it has questions and projects at the end of each chapter, so it gives you plenty of chances to practice what you've learned.
