Overlooked or lost or maybe dune2 “ the sleeper must awaken” is maybe the most significant phrase or question or quest of Dune. Permeates the book and prequel and sequels. Why loose that thread? Maybe great for those that don’t know of or love the books, not so much for those that do. The ones that would talk friends and family to watch Dune1. I felt left hanging like the real story will come someday? 2 stars for story telling 41/2stars for visuals but Marvel does that and could Dune be less visual as a galactic universal story. Will this sleep awaken like Duncan fight scenes? Wish it were more satisfying for me and especially those that don’t know Dune. Should be a streaming series or better take Game of Thrones path. A Much better format for the books that span decades of readers and centuries of galactic evolution
