I'm not sure if it's just the Switch vers or not but this game feels slightly worse compared to its predecessor. It copies everything from the 2016 DOOM mechanics without improving them. I would not recommend buying it unless the price came down. I edited my review because this game did honestly get better as I played it more. There's something just awful about the first level that I can't explain, but it does turn into an entertaining game.
