I am dismayed with the reviews giving this series 4 out 5 stars. Having heard about it, having been asked by one of the actors involved about the question of consent, etc., I was looking forward to a sensible but entertaining treatment of a slice of the porn industry. A fly on the wall docudrama, with human interest, in what must be one of the most consumed but least understood industries would be interesting, surely? Instead, we were served up a disjointed, unsatisfying, hackneyed, pastiche of a mess, notwithstanding the bravura performances from the actors. If the porno scenes were as accurate as the court scenes then I fail to see the point of the exercise save, perhaps, for serving up some sub-Carry On fare to get C4 bums on seats. That's quite possibly the only anal they were really interested in.

Don’t be misled by Melinda Pressler’s review. She clearly doesn’t get it. It’s definitely worth watching on many levels, and is heartwarming and amusing.
