Braxton Gray

The gameplay was okay, though enraging in places with an aggressive inability to backtrack and unbalanced gameplay escalation. That said, the story is unadulterated garbage. After RE7 I'd figured they'd figured out how to do a decent job but by golly they dropped the ball. Story is a 2/10 whereas the gameplay itself is around a 6-ish. Still buy it, still play it, but expect to be disappointed like you were with RE6.

There are some small segments that are overly frustrating or awkwardly laid out, but those do nothing to diminish the epic experience of the game. The story is outstanding, the world is rich, the horror at first exposure is real, and the appreciation is going to shine on.
