How does Carrie 2013 the remake compare to the original 1976 Carrie? It doesn't come close. Chloe Grace Moretz is nowhere near what Sissy Spacek was to horror movies as Carrie White, and I actually like Chloe Grace Moretz. But not in this part. Julianne Moore whispers her way through this un--needed remake of Carrie and never ever ever comes anywhere close to Piper Laurie as Margaret White, Carrie's strict religious fanatic mother. Carrie 2013 is one of the most unnecessary movie remakes of all time.

Funny and vulgar, a hard R for a comedy. Ryan is great as usual. A day working at an Applebee's type chain restaurant called Shenaniganz. This low cost diner may be a caricature, an exaggeration, but it's funny how sometimes the environment with this employer isn't too far from reality.

In Time is a vastly entertaining futuristic dystopian sci fi thriller. Justin Timberlake is very good and Johnny Galecki of the Big Bang Theory has a big presence in a supporting role.
