What he mainly wrote about?
Henry Lawson often wrote his stories among an Australian bush setting; he was known as one of the best-known poets and writers of the colonial time and was often called the greatest short story writer. Henry Lawson wrote in a straightforward way using direct, clearly cultured language with short sentences to build his stories. A lot of his stories display generic Australian culture along with Australian humour. His Characters were often shown as the regular Australian larrikin who are usually young men who find pleasure in darker side of humour and don’t take much regard for the political sides of things, they were often mischievous although deep down they don’t intend any wrong.
