The game is so much better than the reviews. It’s what I wanted from Genshin Impact but didn’t get due to the plague of micro transactions and lack of engagement in storytelling. It’s trials of mana remake but better in every aspect essentially. If you like mana games you will love this. Traditional action rpg at it’s finest. Please god let them add multiplayer couch co-op dlc. Beautiful game- it is art.

I heard so many bad things that I had to play it. It is really a popular thing to troll this game when so many other games are 1000x worse. I liked this much better than Sackboy. AT LEAST THIS GAME HAS SOME ORIGINAL ELEMENTS. I guess people only enjoy open world games with an infinite amount of pointless things to do and zero originality. This game has its flaws but is in fact really fun. The level of polish is not the best, however, it can be challenging and rewarding bc of the changing the play style throughout the entire game. If they put a bit more money and time into this, it truly could have been a unique masterpiece. It still is a good game imho. I personally love old Saturn games and it feels like this is one of those. Maybe I’m biased because I also love Sega games and dreamcast sonic the hedgehog. Its on the playstation premium for free. If anything, try it and get through the first two main acts and if you dont like it stop playing. I miss platformers with additional cool concepts. This is not Mario Odyssey so if you go into it expecting that you will be disappointed.

Honesty, the way they did this game was so much better then how they have been handling the franchise in the past. Its like the true successor to sonic adventure 2. The game play is fun and whimsical with cool puzzles. The complexity of the game play is definitely not for children like it has been in the past. The story is decent but theres so much to do its like botw on meth. It does its own thing though plus he rail system is fire. The music is the best of any of the next gen sonic hands down. Drum and bass and sleeping with sirens embodies everything I've always wanted in a video game soundtrack from Sega. The cons of this game is that its glitchy asf at times and falling out of bounds is handled poorly. For example some of the platforms dont always connect like they should. The loading can be a pain and if you impatiently pess x after a level it will severely punish you with a series of loading sceens and unnecessary cinematics. Although, The reason It happens is because Im impatiently button mashing off pure instinct alone trying to replay the level. If they patched those things and added a chao garden it would be close to a masterpiece. The good overwhelmingly outweighs the bad in imho. Its especially great if you have adhd and are a completionist bc of how much there is to do. Thank you Sega its about f’ing time!!!!

This Game is inherently disjointed and has pieces of it that are monotonous but is a lot of fun to experience. The story continually gets better as it progresses. Gameplay lasts 43-50 hours- longer with side quests. The chocabo riding is amazing. I believe this is a decent starting place for first timers as the game is simplified almost to a fault. Great music and cut scenes. Worth beating.

The characters are cool. Some aspects of this show aren’t well explained, but other then that the show delivers a fun and interesting story. If you liked Gundam: Iron Blooded Orphans you will probably enjoy this a lot. Animation is good and brings out emotion very well. It is a metaphor for the plight of modern day Japan incorporating symbolism relating to how their native population is dwindling away and not procreating.

Fun. Creative. Mindlessly joyous. Unfortunately, the game requires you to play the same stage repeatedly to get all the collectibles. Can be extremely cheap, unforgiving and frustrating at times. This game is best played on the switch because you can use the rewind feature. For me, this game became a once over game pretty fast.

While I found myself bored at first, I’m liking it more. Definitely a game for the completionist. Fans of the new Donkey Kong will appreciate this style of gameplay.
