I like the show so far but it is a bit corney at times. The only controversial thing about it is the oldest daughters complexion. She is much lighter skinned than one would expect but i don't think it's that much of an issue because biracial families deserve representation. However I hate that people are so one sided on if she does or doesn't deserve the roll. It is understandable why people would be anstsy about her because traditionally lighter black skinned women are and have been favored by the media. So to say "who cares" or "people are dramatic" isn't sending the right message to a younger audience. Instead we should emphasis and distinguish the difference between opportunity and talent over favoritism and racial preferences. Black is black no matter how light. But to be light isn't to be privledged like it once was. Just like being darker isnt a social stigma like it once was. I just hope people stop being so onesided and presumptious
