Love the show overall......lots of amazing talent, beautiful desserts and awesome techniques. Not sure about having Marcella as a judge since she doesn't seem to be a baker....but honestly, I would rather hear her opinions than listen to Jason droning on and on. He loves to hear himself speak....and it seriously interferes with my enjoyment of the show. Along with that, how many "southern" sayings do we need to hear in one show? I was born and raised in the deep south, and it still drove me nuts listening to it. It would be so much more enjoyable if he would judge the items with a little bit of his personality instead of trying to completely turn it into the "Jason" show.....Sorry to be so harsh....but there is so little decent TV on these days that I am hoping this show will be successful and stick around.
