Curtis Jenkins

This is a very well done series. The sets, the look, the battle scenes are all first class; the acting is also excellent. But, I have made it through the first few episodes of season 5 and I am ready to give it up. I keep waiting for some kind of moral awakening that never comes. I like heroic tales and there is no hero in this story. Ragnar was close, but he remained a blood thirsty murderer to the end. I don't like any of the people portrayed in the story; none of them have any moral compass. Maybe this is an accurate depiction of what those times were like with warriors taking great delight in cruelly slaughtering people for the fun of it. If so I am just thankful I did not live in that time and place and don't care to watch any more of it.
