I like Project runway and have liked it since the very beginning. This new season of designers has been a little disappointing for me. I don’t feel that quality of designs is there. They have been some really good things but for the most part it is lacking in true design. I have a problem with the judges not being able to be true to their opinions. Seems that there is one individual who consistently gives the judges work that’s incomplete, not what was asked for, and not done and definitely not what the client has asked for. Yet they continually keep this Individual. What is going on? Tonight I watched the show and I thought for sure they would let this individual go. This person not only gave the worst outfit ever but it was her aesthetic and not the clients. The client wanted pink and she put a little pink in the hem. How generous. She keeps making excuses every week for what she has done wrong. It’s always the fabrics fault or not enough time, or sometimes the clients fault. Yet she remains in the show. Why does this keep happening every week? I love Nina I think she is on point with things. I like that she does not mince words with the designers, but she says things in order to help them become better designers. However, I am disappointed in this season because I keep wondering why this particular designer is still there. I don’t believe that the designers who have left are worse than this one. If this keeps happening I’m afraid that project runway will not have many seasons left. I for one would feel sad if that were to happen.
