So in the very first episode, the main character texts "compromised" when she realises she's in danger. She's upstairs, looking through her dead lover's things and downstairs two assassins posing as cops just killed the landlady with one of those completely inaccurate silencers that go pssh in the movies. The man who receives the call for help is in a hotel room, stark naked and having sex. In the time it takes for the assassins to climb up the stairs, he manages to get dressed, get to his car, drive to the location and save the day. All this took barely a minute as the scene takes place in real time. A whole room of writers, producers and actors looked at this and thought "Yes, that's awesome." Now you all go ahead and gush all over this, meanwhile I'll be watching The Bureau, a show that doesn't insult its audience's intelligence.
