Had my hopes up for this book due to the reviews but it wasn't that great. I read it quickly bc I wanted to reach the plot twist everyone raves about. Meh. Gat was the most interesting character in the book. Mediocre writing. Why did the dogs have to die? 😭 I wouldn't recommend.

I'm an avid reader, enjoyed the twilight series greatly and couldn't wait to read this book. That being said, I only read to the 6th chapter and had to force that. I won't be going past it. This book is already in my donation bin, whereas many of my other books are added to my library. This book is terrible, boring and the writing is extremely lazy. To look at the size of the book and think you have that much more to read ( or to push through ) makes me cringe. Ugh. Don't waste your time.
