The movie depicts many realities in our society. Starting with how forced marriage is accepted in society and eventually celebrated by everyone involved in the courtship. How a girl who can't get married becomes a burden to the entire family. The climax is well written, attempting to break the notion one has towards what a women needs. Roohi accepts the flaw in her, don't lean upon another person to rescue her(another male in this case) and is happy with what she is. It is important to marry yourself ( accepts yourself) before marrying anyone else. Another way to look at the climax is she first asks the other person ( in this case the afsa/witch) before marrying her- to show no matter who you marry, consent is essential. Overall I liked the movie, more so the climax.
