I had high hopes for this drama because of the main leads, but the story is just not it. I've watched the first 3 episodes and I could not get passed how the show perpetuates toxic values and behaviours. The male lead and townies consistently disrespect her boundaries and judge her prematurely, but she is always painted as the "bad guy" and must win the favor of those around her. It would have been much better to see more push-and-pull between the main leads' values and opinions. However, the show starts off very one-sided in favor of the region's old-fashioned and conservative views. I may give this show another chance if the tides change, but currently it's quite infuriating to watch.
