I thought society passed the fact we would put an end to white washing, but I guess whoever made this trash didn't realize when it came to casting. I can go on about how much them erasing characters that so many girls of color looked up to is one of the worst things they did, but we're not here for that.
This was honestly just like a CW show on crack with a sparkle of "edgy" fairies. Abigail Cowan (Bloom) was the only one who stood out/didn't look like a 30 year old, unlike the rest of her castmates. It's too bad, I have a feeling they'll reboot this soon like Avatar -- I wonder when people will learn.
Musa was personally one of my favorites as a teen, for a number of reasons, but this show portrayed her as an unfashionable 30 year old who dresses like she shops at the girls section of Target. Don't even start me on the transition sequences, I literally wanted to pour bleach on my eyes.
