I and my family loves the classic home alone movies. The classic movies have always shown the next generation kids the bravery and smartness they must have when faced with obstacles. It seems that in this version the traps laid for the bandits (who are just other parents) are very horrible, dangerous, dumb, and meaningless. What kind of a psychopath character is given to that kid? I recommend not to watch this movie for Christmas. It is very painful and heart spring to watch the parents get hurt so badly.
