I really want to like this show as the cast is an amazing ensemble. The first episode was so annoying with "Kat" explaining herself directly to the audience. I thought that is what plot and character development was for.. very lazy writing indeed. I do hope that changes.. Leslie Jordan's character, as with all characters he plays, was delightful. Also, why do they always make Mayim's characters so frumpy? She's a beautiful woman and should be played as such. Addendum: Just read other reviews and had no idea this was copy of a British show.
