I love Springwatch and I imagine thousands of people watch this lovely programme, but I could not have been the only one watching Steve with the nesting birds on the water and saying that normally a large percentage of these nests are wiped out with the boats that go flying passed. Surely there can be a reduced speed limit that these boats have to adhere to, to protect these birds during nesting time.
We are losing some of our beautiful wildlife at an alarming rate and this really made my blood boil.
